Soul Gem

Sayaka's soul gem from Puella Magi Madoka Magica.

This is basically a plastic egg on a Floralyte Submersible covered in paperclay with a thumbtack on top. I can turn the light on and off by twisting the bottom of the base. The batteries are replaceable and it can be disassembled for easy transport.

It's larger than it should be but I had to use the best egg and light that I could find. I would've gone insane trying to carve those little leaves on an accurately sized Soul Gem.

This took WAY longer than I thought it would. I wanted to make a corrupted Sayaka gem as well but I have too much to work on for my upcoming con. I have the supplies to make a Kyoko and Mami gem as well and will make them eventually even though I do not plan to cosplay either character.
